Tattoo Artist Turtle

I got my first glimpse into the world of tattooing at the tender age of six. Mom, an accomplished artist herself, approved of any artistic endeavors her children decided to pursue, was fully supportive, though she always warned us about the sacrifices of an artistic career. At 17 I began my journey as an apprentice at Storm Riders Tattoo in Old San Juan, P.R. After a grueling two-year apprenticeship, traveling by bus across Puerto Rico, I lost contact with my mentor and was forced to figure out a lot of techniques on my own. Now, 17 years later, I am as in love with my art as I ever was. I have become a well-rounded artist, devoted father, martial artist and all around goof ball. I support my family and have a great time in other mediums as well: drawing, graphic design, painting and martial arts.
